4 cities in which to give your wardrobe a make-over

The year is coming to an end and there are few opportunities for weekend get-aways left. So if you’d like to give your wardrobe a make-over while giving yourself a treat, these are our suggestions!

Rome

Beautiful, sexy, chaotic, intense. That’s the Eternal City you will always want to come back to, whether you’ve thrown a coin in the Trevi Fountain or not. Perfect for a weekend trip, Rome has thousands of places that are made for maximum enjoyment. You will find them in Monti, the hipster district par excellence; or losing yourself in the labyrinthine and bohemian Trastevere area. There you’ll find the Mercato di Porta Portese, the best Sunday plan if you’re a vintage lover. Along the same lines, another option is the Vintage Market of the Circolo degli Artisti, which also has loads to choose from between creations by new designers and second-hand garments.

But if what floats your boat is more exclusivity, nothing better than a visit to the Piazza Spagna area and a wander through Via dei Condotti, Via Veneto and Via Fratttina. The latter, known for housing famous jewellers’ and designer ateliers, is where our latest Flagship Store is located, with a façade covering four floors and an architecture bearing the unmistakable style of UNOde50. We hope to see you soon!

Moscow

Fashion is unpredictable, both when it comes to clothes and accessories, and tourist destinations. And this season the spotlight is on Moscow, a city in which nothing is as it seems.

Apart from Red Square, the most famous underground in the world and the boulevards route, take a stroll through the area to the north of the Kremlin, where the designer stores are at their best and the bars are open 24/7, so you can enjoy an explosive cocktail. And, if you want to feel like a member of the “Russian mafia” (as the Russian style brigade led by Miroslava Duma is known), make sure you drop by the Vogue Café, a must on the Muscovite night scene.

When it comes to shopping, the Moscow markets are one of the most authentic weekend activities. While if you’re on the lookout for the latest trends have a look in The Atrium, a modern shopping centre in which we’ve opened our store and where you’ll find your favourite pieces as well as the latest novelties.

 Toronto

They say that it’s the smaller and cleaner version of New York. And while that may be true, it’s fair to say that Toronto also has authentic gems to discover. To amble down Queen Street West, formerly bohemian and now ultra-hipster and modern, is one of the unmissable experiences in the city. Here art, fashion and the most vanguard restaurants converge.

And if a spot of shopping is what you’re after, Toronto is becoming increasingly fashion friendly: there is even an entire museum dedicated to shoes! The must-sees are the Kensington Market area and a visit to Eaton Center, the largest shopping centre in the city. This is the perfect place to shelter from the cold and get lost among its over 300 shops, all major brands. You will also find an Unode50 store here, designed especially for you. Will you come visit us?

Panama

Also known as the new Miami or the American Dubai, because of the diversity and luxury of its shopping malls, Panama is one of the shopping destinations, par excellence. So if what you want is to give yourself a treat, the Soho Mall is worth a visit. Located in the heart of the city, it’s considered the most exclusive shopping mall in Latin America: avant-garde design, restaurants, spas and hundreds of stores, including –of course- Unode50. Are you going to miss out on it?

A tip: make sure you visit the Barrio Viejo, one of the most picturesque parts of the city. Plus, Panama can provide the perfect stop on the way to or from vacations in one of the Caribbean’s Paradisiac beaches. What do you think?
